The industry is also separating out into the very high-end, the top-40, and the one-step-above Best Buy. This list needs more work. Many things have changed since 2002 when this list was
first compiled. Most dealers now sell their used wares through
Audiogon
(now in partnership with Stereophile),
HigherFi or other
Ebay-like
