INTRO

It was 65 to 85 here - quite variable during the afternoon. Supposed to be 55 degrees and rainy tomorrow.

HALCRO and Acoustic Zen*

A new color for Halcro dm88 amplifiers. Matches the Acoustic Zen speakers - but more to the point, ... but I think I might prefer piano black.

Wandering...

Hmmmm....

WILSON AUDIO

Wilson shows off their Alexandria loudspeakers for the first time at a show [that we are aware of]

Thor's Hammer subwoofer. Bigger better bass from Wilson.

OK, more Alexandria photos. Neli said somebody should smack all these people treating the Alexandria X2 with such disrespect... getting their finger prints all over these beauties. Luckily I was focused on taking the photos, and did not see what was going on - otherwise we would of tag-teamed the crowd, or smiled at them like salespeople - that usually works  :-). - or at least informed them of the $145K [last I heard] price, anyway. High prices usually make people a little more respectful - considering they were only on static display.

The Alexandria is only about a foot? taller than the MAXX III

SONY

Martin Logan showing off the insides of one of their speakers.

The new Martin Logan CLK full-range electrostatic loud speaker.

Their DESCENT subwoofer

TEAC / ESOTERIC

No Esoteric components on display - but I thought this was cool.
