Yes, we finally, did it. When we picked up Kharma last Spring
we just had to get the
 Kharma Mini Exquisite speakers.

black. Gloss black Gloss black. This is Mike's favorite MXR
finish (although he is willing to check out Porsche red and
Lamborghini yellow!). Neli's favorite is he walnut burl. Guess
which finish we will be getting next? Yep, it looks like it
well be a double-wide in walnut burl. But... this rack is all
about sound - this is the first rack that can be honestly
called a system component - it has that significant impact on
the sound - increasing dynamics, separation, and linearity.

We are
impatiently waiting for our new
Audio Note
M9 Phono preamplifier to arrive.
This two-box preamplifier, replacing our M10, will serve a
dire need around here at Audio Federation as the phono stage
with the commensurate quality of the Audio Note TT3 Reference
turntable which arrived in January 2008. |

The
new, affordable Acoustic Zen Adagio loudspeaker is
here, in brown (not the official name, ask Neli for what that
is, but it looks like walnut to me)
 and
it is an amazingly performer - full sounding, even when out in
the middle of the room, linear, even-handed treatment for the
frequencies low to high, musical, images well... one of
those bargains for audiophiles, the poor souls, that seem to
only occur once every decade or so. $4300.00
Finally, we now are the proud dealers of the
Elrod Power Systems
product line.
These power cords should really be called POWER cords.
The are massive and have a massive sound. Full-sounding with a
capital 'F'.
Everything is
breaking in nicely and as fast we are are able. Oh, the pain,
the pain!
